Who may join the SL?
Anyone is welcome to join the Temple of Divine Light Storyline (SL). We do ask that anyone so interested please contact the player of Lily Ariskah (Lily at isauras dot com) or Brother Zed before taking liberties with Temple or its inhabitants to ensure that the ground rules are understood.
Is the Temple associated with Shakira?
While there are those who suspect that the Temple is associated with Shakira, primarily due to Lily's presence as high priestess, no one who is a member of the Temple has ever confirmed this, and the Temple makes no references to Shakira when addressing those who are not part of the Temple. So, no, there is no known proof that Shakira is associatd with the temple. Only suspicion.
Does one have to be a member of the Temple to serve in the Temple Guard? Does one have to serve in the Temple Guard if they are a member of the Temple?
No, there are characters who are part of the guard who are not members of the Temple. However, of course the Temple would love to have them join. Also, those who are members of the Temple (the Accepted), are not assumed to be members of the Temple Guard. Those who have gifts that can serve the Temple that are not "battle oriented" are certainly not required to take up arms for the Temple. Each serves the Temple in his or her own fashion.
