Rules of the Phoenix Guard
Rules
- Protect the High Priestess
- Protect the Temple
- Protect the Accepted
- Serve the Temple
- Maintain Fitness
- Seek Rank
I. Protect the High Priestess
The High Priestess is the soul and center of the Temple of Divine Light. Above all else, her person must be protected.
II. Protect the Temple
The Temple, and its grounds, are sacrosanct and must be protected against those that would seek to do mischief. Those who invade the Temple's holy grounds without leave are due no mercy.
III. Protect the Accepted
The Accepted, as the instruments of the White Lady, must be protected from harm by those who have not yet seen the truth of the White Lady.
IV. Serve the Temple
The Temple, in its outreach programs to the community (including the Hospice, Orphanage, Homeless Shelter, and other programs) requires the assistance of the able-bodied in carrying out its mission. The guard will assist the Accepted in the performance of their duties where it does not conflict with higher priority guard rules.
V. Maintain Fitness
Only those that are fit may properly serve the White Lady. The members of the guard are required to maintain themselves in a high degree of fitness against time of need.
VI. Seek Rank
The White Lady, in her wisdom, recognizes the need for the guard to practice their skills in the arts martial. To that end, ranking within the guard will be determined by commensurate ranking within the bloodsports of Rhy'Din. Those who seek to advance within the Lady's service must prove their skill in the dueling rings.
